Parents:  a few important reminders for the week of November 28-December 4).  

 

New Practice Location and Time for Thursdays (December 1-March):

• Location:  Shady Grove Middle School
• Day:  Every Thursday
  
• Time:  6-8pm

Second Practice Day on Saturday (December 3):

• Location:  Bowie State University
• Day:  Sat, Dec. 3
  
• Time:  530-7pm
• Please let me know if your daughter needs a ride to and/or from practice

December Team Fees:

• December fees are due at this week's practice.  Please bring checks payable to 6thMan Sports in the amount of $60.
• Next payment is scheduled for January 5.

Winter League Games & December Tournaments:

• We are registered for the PVBL Winter League that runs December to February.
• Winter league games will begin next weekend - exact schedule has not been posted yet. We may push back our first game to make room for a tournament. Stay tuned.
  
• No games this weekend (Dec 3 & 4) - but don't forget about practice on Dec. 3 @ Bowie State University
• 2 tournaments coming up in December

Holiday/Awards Ceremony (The 4th "S'Annual" Team Rahman Awards Ceremony!):

Thanksgiving 2011 Tournament

Parents:

A few reminders about this weekend's tournament:

• Please wear the black/white uniforms (wear WHITE for Friday's morning game) since some girls are still waiting for their shorts for the official uniforms.  Schedule for the weekend below.
  
• Please report to the gym by 10:10am on Friday morning (game is at 10:40am at St. Michael's).  Address:  St. Michael's 1125 St. Michaels Rd, Mt. Airy, Md 21797.  Directions here.
  
• $3 entry fee on Friday and Saturday.  $2 on Sunday.
• There will be photographers taking action shots of all play beginning Friday afternoon through Sunday. Wilkins Photography will shoot each game and  have proofs after, for you to see and purchase. The company can make posters or prints on the spot or send a disk with all of a player's proofs. Apparently they're able to capture some really cool action shots of the players!  We'll see... :)
