Lady Warriors Win Silver at Potomac Valley D-I Qualifiers

Congrats to the 5th grade Lady Warriors on finishing second in the Potomac Valley Division I District Qualifiers!  We had our eye on the big prize but finishing behind the defending champs, Matrix, was no small feat.  See how we got there.

Now on to Nationals!

Game Schedules: 5th and 6th Grade Teams

5th Grade:

Tournament:  2012 District Qualifiers

Location:  Capitol Sports Complex, District Heights, MD (where we played in the Flames tournament).  Enter through the Big Lots parking area for players and parents.

Uniforms:  Please note that any undershirts MUST MATCH the color of the uniform.  Red undershirts for red jerseys; while undershirts for white jerseys.  Violation of this rule will result in a technical...yikes!

Sat, 5/5:

Game 1 vs Team Sol:  10:30am (report to gym by 9:30am - 1 hour before tip-off) - red uniforms

Sun, 5/6:

Game 1 vs Classics:  1:30pm (report to gym by 1pm - 30 minutes prior) - white uniforms

Result:  W (33-20)

Game 2 vs Lady Heat:  4:30pm (report to gym by 4pm - 30 minutes prior) - white uniforms

Result :  W (27-15)

Sat, 5/12:
Semi-finals:  2pm (report to gym by 1:30pm - 30 minutes prior) - white uniforms

Location:  YMCA Dancel Family Center (lower courts), 4331 Montgomery Rd, Ellicott City, Md 21042

Schedule:

Sat, 5/12:

• 3pm:  Knockout Challenge (not required) - anyone can participate to win medals and other prizes.
• Game 1 vs Columbia Ravens Black:  4:15pm (report to gym by 345pm - 30 minutes prior) - white uniforms
• Game 2  vs Md Lady Clippers:  6:45pm (report to gym by 615pm - 30 minutes prior) - white uniforms
